We sell and install vinyl replacement windows, vinyl siding, aluminum soffit, fascia, and seamless eavestrough. We have access to about a dozen suppliers, with ROYAL BUILDING PRODUCTS as our main siding supplier, and our vinyl replacement windows are purchased from one of Canada's original window manufacturers, A.C. ..... LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT MAKES JACK'S UNIQUE, AND WHY over twelve thousand customers have chosen us since 1976. As mentioned in our 'History' page, our fully experienced installers do all their own pricing, giving our clients a change to meet the installer before they buy. That same installer will also look after any concerns long after the installation is completed. That piece of mind has made many of our clients repeat sutomers, and I believe that is why most of our clients refer us to their friends. We are a very low-key company. We do not knock on doors. We do not call you at supper time to sell you anything, and we will not pressure you into buying. We do not offer senior discounts, seasonal specials, or any type of misleading financial programs. We simply offer top quality installations, and we fully warranty everything we sell.
..... LETS TALK ABOUT LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE WINDOW components. Most of our competitors offer lifetime warranties, but if a glass loses it's seal, or if the hardware fails, the warrantied component will be supplied, however there is a labour charge to replace the glass or hardware. If WE install your window, we will warranty every part of your window, parts and labour for as long as you live in the house, plain and simple. Very few window contractors do that, so be sure to ask. You may wonder why we sell windows from a small and obscure supplier such as A.C. VINYL. It is because every component of their window is designed with durability in mind. Their Rehau vinyl frame is practically the thickest around, they use stainless steel screws, which will never rust, their latches, cranks and handles are all domestic top quality (not imported Chinese hardware). All their glass is set in the frame with ageless neutral-cure silicone, and not five to seven year glazing tape. To top it off their windows are EnergyStar approved. And speaking of EnergyStar, most vinyl windows built in Canada are EnergyStar approved. However, EnergyStar approval means nothing if the window breaks down within 3-4 years. So do your homework, very few windows are built like A.C. Vinyl Windows. And remember, we at Jack's have chosen our vinyl siding, and our aluminum suppliers with the same principals in mind.
..... IS IT CHEAPER IF WE PAY CASH?? Many of our competitors will make that type of offer. As a matter of fact research shows that almost one third of all private renovations is done for cash, or partially for cash. We at Jack's will always offer the best deal possible, cash or cheque. We will never offer to do work 'under the table' and as such, we cannot offer a reduced price for cash. We perform our work with honesty and integrity, thus paying all the required taxes. We do not cheat the government, and we do not cheat the customers. If a contractor is willing to offer you a reduced rate for cash, ask yourself if the work has a reasonable warranty, if the contractor has proper liability coverage, and if the contractor has a dependable code of ethics. Deal with Jack's and you won't have to ask those questions. We have been in business for well over thirty years and have earned the trust of thousands of customers by doing everything 'above board'.
